What we do

Snehalaya aims to empower differently abled individuals by advocating their rights, raising awareness about their abilities, and promoting their inclusion in all aspects of life. We focus on providing quality education and skill development programs specifically designed for differently abled persons. This includes promoting inclusive education, vocational training, and creating opportunities for lifelong learning to enhance their independence, employability, and overall well-being. Our main focus is on providing access to medical facilities, therapies, assistive devices, and rehabilitation support to improve their physical, mental, and emotional state of well-being.

Junior Home

"A Junior Home for the Differently-Abled" is a specialized residential facility designed to cater to focuses on their unique needs of children and adolescents with multiple disabilities. Snehalaya Junior home provides a supportive and friendly environment that allows the special Students to live, grow and thrive while receiving the necessary care and assistance.

Rehab Home

Rehabilitation Center for the Differently-Abled individuals or people with disabilities, are facilities that provide a wide range of services and support to help individuals with disabilities to achieve their maximum potential,independence, and integration into the society. We create a supportive and nurturing environment where individuals can gain the skills and confidence.

Our Project

Project Sampark is an outreach program of Snehalaya which caters to the welfare of the Differently-abled Children and Adults who are home bound. In this project we reach out to more severely affected disabled Children and adults who are home bound and who do not get admission in institutions around the City of Pune. We also cater to our own Ex-Students who are not yet fully rehabilitated

Welcome to Snehalaya Education Society: Since 1996

Welcome to Snehalaya Education Society committed to empower the Differently Abled. This is an institute for individuals with Multiple Disabilities and Cerebral Palsy. We are dedicated to support and empower individuals with different abilities. We firmly believe in promoting inclusive, equal opportunities, and the overall well-being of persons with disabilities. Our organization was established in 1996 with the vision of creating a society where every individual, regardless of their abilities, can lead a fulfilling and independent life.

Corrective Surgery

Gloria was operated on 7th October 2023 for bilateral knee deformity corrections with left knee limb lengthening procedure.

Two surgeries were done on Prerna for bilateral knee deformity corrections with implant removal.

Corrective surgery was done on Gajanan on 23rd September 2023 for his both ankles and foot deformity.

Humanitarian Excellence National Award

Snehalaya received the most coveted social award of our nation “Humanitarian Excellence award 2021”.

Mahatma National award

On the 1st of October 2021, Snehalaya received the prestigious “Mahatma National award” at International Center, New Delhi.

On the 8thof August 2021, Snehalaya received the award called “Unsung Heroes of India” in Pune by IIMM.
