On February 9th, 2025, Snehalaya Education Society hosted its much-anticipated Annual Sports Meet for the academic year 2024-2025. The event was a grand celebration of determination, inclusivity, and the spirit of sportsmanship among our differently-abled children with multiple disabilities. The day was filled with energy, joy, and unwavering enthusiasm, making it a memorable experience for all.
The occasion was graced by our Chief Guest, Mr. Jerry Vaz, Senior Director at Coupa Software, and our Guest of Honor, Mr. Nitin Appaso Gholap, Sarpanch of Ahwalwadi Village. Their inspiring words motivated the children and reinforced the importance of perseverance and self-belief.
Parents of the children were present in large numbers, cheering and encouraging their little champions as they participated in various sporting events. The sheer joy on the faces of our students, as they showcased their abilities, was a heartwarming sight. The support and encouragement from parents and teachers played a crucial role in making the event successful.
Adding to the day's excitement, we also organized a Mini Food Fun Fair where participants and attendees indulged in delicious treats. The fair was a wonderful opportunity for families to bond over good food and laughter, making the event even more enjoyable.
One of the most touching moments of the day was the award ceremony, where every child was recognized for their participation and achievements. Each award symbolized their effort, hard work, and unwavering spirit. Their smiles and sense of accomplishment were truly priceless, reminding us all of the power of resilience and determination.
