In the Silver Jubilee year of Snehalaya, we have launched a new project called “Sampark” which means “keeping in touch”. In this project we give Home based services to the disabled children as and where they are.

We have noticed that there are many children with multiple disabilities staying at home especially among the poor and the agricultural laborers. They do not have any facilities for education, therapy and vocational training. It is not possible to get all of them to the residential homes. Some parents are also reluctant to send them to special Schools in the cities. Therefore we hit upon the idea of reaching out to these children by providing them with the home based services
